VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As the mercury remains stuck at sub-freezing temperatures, the Valley City Public Works Department issued this reminder for residents to avoid a water line freeze up in their homes.

Public Works Director Clint Klemisch had this advice for residents who have experienced frozen water lines in the past.

Remember to contact the Valley City Public Works department to let them know you will be running water into your sinks to avoid frozen pipes in your Valley City home.
