JAMESTOWN N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Members of the Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) are continuing to monitor bills that could lead to growth in and around the area.
During the recent JSDC Executive Board Meeting, Buffalo City Park was briefly discussed. Jamestown Tourism Executive Director Searle Swedlund informed the board that there wasn’t much new information at this time.
Executive Director Connie Ova reported that they continue to monitor bills in the legislature that are exploring the use of Legacy funds.
In her report, Ova says the project will require substantial state of North Dakota support to kick off and complete the project.
Ova says there is also support for funding of a new North Dakota State Hospital. She added that she has drafted letters of support for both projects.
