JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Thanks in part to some grant funding, the National Buffalo Museum will have the ability to test a new feature this year.

Jamestown Tourism Executive Director Searle Swedlund reports that they have been working with the National Buffalo Museum for tourism funding.

During this tour, participants will learn about the meaning of the herd and modern day impact bison have on culture today. Swedlund says this will be a good addition to Jamestown.

Another grant was received by the Jamestown Arts Center.

He says they also worked with the Jamestown Arts Center for grant funding to bring in “Chalkfest”. The event will be held at the beginning of the summer as the kickoff to the Downtown Arts Market.
