FINLEY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Cardinals hit seven 3-pointers in a back and forth first half and had a strong second half to pick up their seventh victory of the season 62-44 over the Spartans of Finley/Sharon/Hope/Page in Class B boys non-region basketball action. Carrington improves to 7-9 overall and FSHP drops to 6-9 overall.

The Cardinals were led by Hudson Schmitz with 20 points, including four 3-pointers, Hudson Topp added 17 including three 3-pointers and Grady Shipman had 13 points. Leading the way for FSHP was Owen Zerface with 18.

Next up for Carrington will be at fellow District 5 team Oakes on Tuesday, February 9th, KDAK and KDDR will have the coverage starting about 7pm.
