JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Spring Turkey Season will open April 10th and run through May 16th.

Right now, North Dakota Game & Fish reports there are 775 more tags this year compared to 2020. Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says you have until February 10th to apply for a tag.

Leier encourages turkey hunters to look at the other units in the state, where there may be more tags available.

In other outdoor information, Leier says anglers should pay attention to pressure ridges and pick up litter.
