JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Cashwise Foods in Jamestown has given back to the community through different ways.
Jamestown Store Director Matthew Arends states through the month of December, the store held their “Round Up” promotion, collecting more than $1,500 in funds.
“Today, we were able to donate gift cards to Community Action Region VI to help support those in need in our community,” Arends says. “Our team in Jamestown has a proud history of supporting our community through community giving and the Round Up promotion gave us a unique ability to engage our community and guests in giving back to those in need.”
This is the 5th time Jamestown Cashwise has been able to donate through the program since March 2020.
Another way the local store gave back was donating stuffed animals to the Jamestown Police Department.
“[The] officers use them to comfort children in difficult situations,” Arends stated. “We did this for the second time.”
