JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Arts Center has continued to operate as best they can amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Arts Center Executive Director Mindi Schmitz says they’ve continued to rotate the gallery, this time bringing in a unique exhibit entitled “Pop Cars” by Mack Schroer.
Schmitz says they also continue to hold regular classes for kids and adults, this time bringing in a North Dakota artist for an upcoming class.
Schmitz added that their Arts After School program has continued to remain popular, giving students and parents a creative, after school option.
Because they operate as a non-profit, they’ve continued to find ways to keep the public engaged and safe. In place of their wine tasting events, they’ve opted for a more intimate gathering called Perfectly Paired, a limited event that participants can register for.
Typically, the center holds a gala every February, which has been the Arts Centers biggest fundraiser in previous years.
