VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Bridges (Valley City) is in the running for the Bridge Tour Award and you can click on the link below to get your vote in before the January 22nd deadline.
The tour may start with the historic High Line Bridge, a railroad bridge spans 3860 feet (1,180 m) over the Sheyenne River. And at its highest point, it rises 162 feet (49 m) above the Sheyenne River. Completed in 1908, the bridge brings freight trains across the line now owned by Burlington Northern Santa Fe.
