JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Ambulance will be holding their new EMT course starting February 8th.

The 3 month program will have future Emergency Medical Technicians meeting Monday and Thursday night from 6 PM to 10 PM.

“Tuition is $1,250 and covers books and some online resources need within the program,” Operations Manager Andrew Berkey states. “Labs are once a month in Jamestown and there are employment opportunities upon successful completion of the National Registry exams.”

Berkey says there have been increased numbers of students registered across the state, but they are still in need of new EMT’s locally.

“We currently have students registered from across the state, but we are looking to increase our local numbers as we move forward,” he stated. “We have great instructors with years of experience and are highly motivated to deliver the best EMS education experience possible.”
