JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Christopher & Banks, a women’s clothing retail, will be closing all stores nationwide after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

This includes the Jamestown location inside the Buffalo Mall, one of 7 locations in North Dakota.

The Minneapolis-based retailer plans to close “significant portion, if not all, of its brick-and-mortar stores,” but is looking for a potential buyer for its online platform.

There are roughly 449 stores in 44 states.

Christopher & Banks originally opened in 1956.
