JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Blue Jays traveled to Bismarck on Monday night and dominated in an 83-54 victory over St. Mary’s Central.

Carson Lamp led the way for Jamestown with 18 points, including two three-pointers. The first 21 points of the game scored by the Blue Jays came via the three. Nine total Jamestown players knocked down a trey on Monday night in Bismarck.

Jamestown also was helped by the return of senior Brooks Carroll, who finished with 12 points. Ty Monson totaled 11 and Shea Carroll had eight.

The game was close through the first ten minutes before Monson went on a 9-0 run all on his own to help distance the Blue Jays from the Saints. Jamestown went into the half with a 49-27 advantage and never looked back.

The Blue Jays are back in action on Saturday as they host Turtle Mountain at 7 p.m. at Jerry Myer Arena. Jamestown will be looking for its seventh consecutive victory.
