CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Carrington has been tasked with finding infrastructure projects after receiving state funding from the Prairie Dog bill.
Mayor Tom Erdmann says the city received $125,000, which came from oil and gas gross production tax distribution to help provide a new source of infrastructure funding for cities, counties, and townships in non-oil-producing counties and airports throughout the state.
Erdmann says there are some projects the city can analyze.
Erdmann says in other news, the city of Carrington had a record $906,000 in the city sales tax for 2020.
The city has also received $253,711 in CARES Act funding to help with law enforcement wages and benefits.
