CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Carrington will begin the hiring process for a new chief of police.

The city accepted Chief Nathan Kruse’s resignation during their monthly meeting earlier this week.

Mayor Tom Erdmann says they’ve also hired another officer, who is currently going through academy. They’ve added another officer to the roster who has recently completed their academy training.

Erdmann thanked Kruse for his many years of service in the Carrington Police Department.
