Marlyn Wegenke, 84, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 29, 2020 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.

Marlyn Ellen Johnson was born April 11, 1936, in Jamestown the daughter of Victor and Ellen (Keller) Johnson.  She grew up in Homer Township and went to school there.  In 1954, she graduated from Jamestown High School.  Marlyn was united in marriage to Kenneth Wegenke in 1956 and they made their home in Jamestown.  At various times she worked for Sears, the Anne Carlsen Center, Jamestown Hospital, and Home Health & Hospice.  Marlyn was a very active member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

She is survived by her three sons, Kevin (Maureen) Wegenke, Huron, SD, Neil Wegenke, Jamestown, and William Wegenke, Fargo, ND; six grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley), Nick, Justin (Alison), Warren, Jessica (Bo), and Brandy (Anthony); and four great-grandchildren, Matthew and Dominic Wegenke, Will and Wren Wegenke.

Marlyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Wegenke; son, Matthew; brother, Norman; sisters, Lillian Krueger and Ruth Johnson; and step-sister, Mary Trautman.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND, with Rev. James Naumann officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the funeral home.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
