JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Construction progress continues on the Taylor Stadium renovation’s, but the public is being reminded that they are not allowed on the premises as crews continue to work.

“Construction is finally rolling with excavation and progress that is visible,” University of Jamestown Physical Plant Director Ramone Gumke reports. “It’s exciting and fun to check in and see it firsthand.”

“While checking on progress is welcome and fun, it is now an active construction zone, so be aware that no one is allowed into the site,” Gumke added.

Students and the public are not permitted past the line of cones on the south side of the Physical Plant. This includes vehicles and foot traffic.

“Any previous permission to be within the site is no longer valid,” Gumke stated. “Entering the site is only permissible moving forward for construction related visits. Proceeding past the cones, blocking access on the south side of the Physical Plant, requires an appointment with JE Dunn’s site supervisor.”

The renovations are expected to be completed by the Fall of 2021, which will create a shared-use facility for the University of Jamestown and Jamestown Public Schools. Click here for more information.
