JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Salvation Army remains in need for bell ringers this holiday season.
The Red Kettle Campaign is the largest, yearly campaign for the Salvation Army, using the funds to continue providing services for the next year. Major Judy Lowder says at this time, they’re at about 39% of their $151,000 goal.
Lowder says the red kettles set up in the community are in need of volunteers to staff them and ring a bell.
Lowder says individuals can also make a donation to the kettles using Apple or Google pay or can start their own virtual kettle to collect donations.
If unable to reach their goal by the end of the year, Lowder says she would need to cut some services and programs that would be sorely missed by individuals in Stutsman County.
