CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Carrington continues to see encouraging signs amid the ongoing pandemic.
CHI Market President Mariann Doeling reports that they saw encouraging trends following the Thanksgiving holiday in the region.
While the news is encouraging, Doeling says it does take a bit more time with their machine.
She says they continue to stress the importance of sanitizing at the hospital and ensuring a safe environment for all.
Doeling says if the decrease continues, they’ll be reopening the New Rockford clinic. She says if they do see a spike of COVID-19 again, they’ll need to adjust as necessary.
In the vaccine news, Doeling says they will be receiving the Moderna vaccine, which meets with FDA on December 17th. She says they would expect shipments to begin around December 20th.
