JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Spiritwood Energy Park Association (SEPA) board met and discussed the 2021 budget forecast.
The budget forecast for the most part didn’t differ much from previous years. Project Manager Rich Garmin doesn’t foresee the budget changing that much in the future.
Attorney Michael Nixt says various projects ongoing including Company X and rail expansion, the greenhouse project, and expansion of the industrial park, there is some ongoing legal work to adjust for the growth.
Garmin also provided some updates on Company X.
Garmin says they’ll need to meet soon on rail logistics and ensure everything fits DSA and Company X plans.
JSDC Executive Director Connie Ova stated that they would need to renew the exclusivity agreement with Company X as they approach the expiring year.
It was recommended giving the company an Exclusivity Agreement from January to May 1st, 2021. The motion was unanimously approved.
Garmin says on the Greenhouse Project, they’re adjust the lease and other agreements to meet the needs of the project. He estimates the return of some agreements to come before the board soon.
