VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – More than 25-thousand dollars has been donated to the Barnes County Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign in 2020.

Spokesman Lee Isensee said the generosity of the Barnes County Community has been fantastic.

He said one example is Erin Hannig the owner of Wild Prairie Bakery. She donated $500 collected from a Donuts Day promotion benefiting the Salvation Army in June.

Red Kettles are located at Leevers North and South and at Petro Serve USA in Valley City. Anyone interested in being a bell ringer should call Tim Kadrmas at 490-1044.
