JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 2020 has been a trying year for many, specifically healthcare facilities and personnel.
All year long, the Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) has seen just how giving the community can be. Katie Ryan-Anderson is the Marketing Manager for the hospital.
Cindy Tag-Nygord, Executive Assistant and drive organizer, says the community has helped the hospital in a number of ways including donations of meals, homemade masks, and even monetary donations.
To return the support, the JRMC will be holding a drive-thru food drive on December 10th.
Nygord says they’ll be accepting non-perishable donations and more from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM at the hospital all day Thursday.
All proceeds collected will be donated to the Salvation Army in Jamestown. You’re asked to drop off items on the west end of the clinic building between the Essentia and JRMC Cancer Center spaces. To ensure everyone’s safety, a JRMC team member will accept your gift from the vehicle’s trunk or car window. No contact will be necessary.
Ryan-Anderson says everything the community has made a difference and has allowed them to “care on” for the region.
She added that the community can continue that support by schedule their preventative care and regularly scheduled exams now.
