VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Lions Club donated $500 to the Barnes County Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign.

Club President Paul McDonald said during this trying time we thought that it would be tough for them to meet their goal of $50,000. So we decided to donate $500 to this worthy cause that helps so many people in need

McDonald said the ceremony was fitting to be held on Tuesday, December 1st being it was Global Day of Giving Tuesday.
