CAYUGA, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol said a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 19 year-old Broden Frolek of Lidgerwood, ND was traveling westbound on Highway 11 around 8:35pm Saturday, November 28th about three miles east of Cayuga, ND.

The Patrol said the vehicle left the roadway entering the north ditch, then struck an approach and began to roll. The Pontiac came to rest in a slough on its top. The driver was located several hours after the crash, around 11:55pm. The driver was a short distance from the vehicle. Frolek sustained several injuries from the crash and was taken by air med to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. His condition has not been released. The cause of the crash is still under investigation with the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
