MANDAN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 19 year-old man is facing possible charges after striking and killing a pedestrian in Mandan Tuesday morning.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that the driver was coming from Bismarck to his residence in Mandan. He was traveling in Mandan near 4th Avenue NW when he struck a pedestrian standing next to a parked vehicle just before 5:30 AM. The 42 year-old Bismarck man was killed in the collision.
The 19 year-old driver was arrested and charges are pending following the crash investigation. The NDHP was assisted by Mandan Police and Mandan Fire/EMS.
