JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The unemployment rate around Stutsman County currently stands around 2.6%, lower than the state average of roughly 3.8%.
Danica Chaput, Workforce Center Manager for Job Service North Dakota, says estimates around 40% of those will be returning to their employer.
Chaput says they’re are also some new products that have been updated that may have interest.
Chaput added they have also been given additional funds for their dislocated worker grant. This allows them to give additional training in different fields and hopes they stay after their done.
Adding job opportunities to social media has also helped fill some openings Chaput stated.
