VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Someone stole a number of golf cart parts from a privately owned building near the Bjornson Golf Course in Valley City.

Police Chief Phil Hatcher said officers were called to the scene on November 5th. He said anyone with information in the theft of these golf cart parts should call the police department at 845-3110.

Hatcher said the building was unlocked at the time of the theft. He said this incident is a good reminder for the public to lock up and secure valuables, whether inside their vehicles, homes and businesses or outside on their property. He said most of the thefts we respond to could be prevented by simply locking a door or removing valuables from sight. “Lock it or lose it”
