“The people have spoken, and it is time to move forward. Congratulations to Mike Wobbema, Cole Christensen and Dwight Kiefert, on their election victory. I certainly want to take this opportunity to wish them the best as our legislative delegation from District 24.

It has been an honor for me to serve the citizens of District 24 these past 32 years in the North Dakota Senate. I leave the Senate with no regrets. I have many friends in the Senate, the House, and the Executive Branch of Government. I will always treasurer my years serving this district. A special thank you is in order to the countless folks who made contact with me over the years either by phone, regular mail, in person, by email, or by attending the legislative forums throughout the district. Those forums are important not only for the people of District 24 but for the legislators as well.

In closing, thank you for the honor of allowing me to represent our district in the North Dakota Senate.”
