JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Rotary Club has continued to remain busy this fall and heading into the winter holiday season.

Rotary Club President Sean Johnson says recently, they held their Peace Pole event with the Zonta International Club and participated in the trick-or-treating at the Frontier Village.

Now with the holidays on the horizon, he says they’re looking forward to is decorating a tree at the Hansen Arts Park.

Johnson added that this is the 100th anniversary of the Jamestown Rotary Club and they were exploring options and alternatives to their annual Wine & Brewhaha event.

Johnson says they have some ideas to tie both the anniversary celebration and their big annual event together.

With the COVID-19 numbers high in the community, Johnson says they welcome anyone interested in joining Rotary to reach out to them on Facebook or their website. They’ll be hosting their meetings virtually for the time being, each Tuesday at 12 PM.
