CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The 2020 Class B Region 3 volleyball tournament starts on Tuesday, November 10th and will continue Thursday and Saturday, November 12th and 14th. The Oakes Tornadoes are the two-time defending Region 3 champs, beating Carrington last year in the championship and Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter the year before. Oakes has finished runner-up at the state tournament the last two years. This year due to Covid-19 concerns, the higher seeds will host. The Tornadoes are the runner-ups from D5 and will host the three seed from District 6 the Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers in the first round on Tuesday. The tourney consists of three of the top 10 teams in the state of North Dakota in Class B volleyball. Here is Tuesday’s schedule all matches will start at 7pm:

D5 2 (No. 5) Oakes vs. D6 3 Strasburg/Zeeland (KDDR)

D5 1 (No. 10) Carrington vs. D6 4 Napoleon/GS (KDAK)

D6 2 South Border vs. D5 3 Lamoure/Litchville/Marion (Q101)
