VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – District 24 Democrat State Senator Larry Robinson was defeated by his Republican challenger Mike Wobbema by 124 votes in Tuesday’s election. Wobbema had 3,533 votes and Robinson received 3,409 votes. Robinson has been the District 24 State Senator since 1988.

District 24 Republican State Representative Dwight Kiefert was re-elected with 3,689 votes and Republican Cole Christensen was elected to his first term with 3,568 votes. They defeated Democrats Naomi Muscha (2,854) and Bradley Edin (2,490) in Tuesday’s election.
