JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Halloween hasn’t been cancelled, but Central Valley Health says its important to take some extra precautions while trick-or-treating this weekend.

Shannon Klatt, Central Valley Health Director of Health Promotion, says while it’s important to be safe overall with trick-or-treating, this year calls for a little extra.

Klatt says you’re also encouraged to wear a mask.

With COVID-19 precautions in mind, Klatt added that it’s also important to keep the regular safety in mind.

There are other ways to safely celebrate Halloween this year too, including numerous drive-thru trick-or-treating events and trunk-or-treats. Visit NewsDakota.coms events tab for full details and locations of area events.
