Clarence Carow, 95, of rural Edgeley, ND, passed away early Tuesday morning, October 27, 2020 at St. Rose Care Center, LaMoure, ND.
Clarence was born October 23, 1925, in Edgeley, the son of Frank and Emma (Huper) Carow. He attended school at Willowbank #2 school and graduated from Edgeley High School in 1942. Clarence farmed with his parents and then served in the US Army Tank Division in Germany during the Korean Conflict. After he was honorably discharged, Clarence attended Dakota Business College where he met Cravella Hatfield. They were united in marriage on September 30, 1956 at Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley. They made their home on a farm six miles east of Edgeley. Clarence was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, serving several offices on the church council.
He is survived by his wife, Cravella Carow, Edgeley; two sons, Leighton Carow and Harlan Carow, both of Edgeley; and brother, Raymond (Marlene) Carow, Alexandria, MN.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Lucille (Orrin) Opdahl, Irene (Charles) Knudtson, Evelyn (James) Thomas, and Grace (John) Rains.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 30, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley, ND
Visitation: One hour before the service at the church.
Burial: Mt. Hope Cemetery, Edgeley.
