Urbana, ND (NewsDakota.com) – Barnes Rural Water District residents are being asked to limit their water usage as crews work to repair a water line break. Barnes Rural Water District Manager Perry Kapaun said after a failed attempt to repair the line under a slough near Urbana, he had to hire a contractor to install a mile-long water line around the slough.
Barnes Rural Water District customers who live west of Lake Ashtabula are being asked to limit water usage until further notice. He said the water line break is affecting the cities of Dazey, Rogers and Wimbledon, North Dakota. Kapaun said it will take a few days before the new water line is completed.
