JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Washington Elementary School Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) has been raising funds for their library and have a drive-thru fundraiser planned this Thursday.
Parent Cassie DuBray says the PTO is a valuable committee of parents and teachers for the benefit of the school.
DuBray says their “Feed the Minds” drive-thru soup fundraiser will be raising money for the library. She says they’ve teamed up with some area organizations to help provide the soup for the event while keeping COVID-19 in mind.
DuBray says they will also be accepting donations during the event for their cause.
Washington Elementary student Evan DuBray says there are some other things he’d like to raise money for. This includes the school playground.
The “Feed the Minds” soup drive-thru will be held from 4:30 PM to 7 PM in front of Washington Elementary School on Thursday, October 29th. Cost per pint is $7 for either chili or knoephla soup.
