CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The pandemic has been difficult on area businesses.
Carrington Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Laurie Dietz says as businesses operate amid the pandemic, changes have been taking place. She says they’ve looked to shift the focus on the Chamber to adjust for this as well.
Dietz says at this time, a lot of big box stores have begun their holiday sales pushes. She says this doesn’t help already struggling local businesses.
With online shopping being an enticing option amid the pandemic, Dietz says they plan on rolling out their different Christmas shopping programs early to get a jump on the holiday season sales as well.
