JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The best riders and roughstock will put on a show this weeked at the annual Roughrider Rodeo finals in Jamestown.
Longtime announcer Ron Urlacher is in the midst of his 26 season and says the finals in Jamestown are always a good show.
While the usual venue is the Jamestown Civic Center, Urlacher says they’ve moved this years event to the Stutsman County Fairgrounds to allow for social distancing.
Urlacher added that while the best riders and participants will be there, the roughstock shouldn’t be overlooked either.
Urlacher says events range from bareback riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, breakaway, team roping, steer wrestling and more. He says there’ll also be some junior events over the weekend.
The event will be October 16th through the 18th at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds. For more information, contact Mary Carlson at 701-624-5226 or email mdcarlson@srt.com.
