JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Stutsman County Park Board Superintendent Karl Bergh reports that decent fall weather has kept his staff busy in the county.

Because of the good conditions, Bergh says work on the NDFU Summer Camp is progressing quickly.

Bergh added that the great weather has also allowed them to get a lot of needed work done.

Bergh says water has been blown out of the lines and the water has been turned off at Parkhurst.

Looking ahead, Bergh says they’re looking at an October 18th close for Lakeside Campground and they’ll start winterizing then.

Bergh added that they’ve also begun pulling some of the docks, but some have been left at this time. He says the big pier at the marina will be next, but the small pier will stay for the rest of the season.
