FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – A Fargo man was arrested early this morning for threatening to blow up the apartment building where he lives in the 2700 block of 8th Street North, just west of Northport Shopping Center.

It wasn’t only the threat that frightened others in the building.

Sgt. Travis Moser says officers were able to contain the suspect, 26-year old Jorden Pickus, in his apartment, and after two hours of communicating with Pickus, he surrendered to police.

He was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation, cleared, and taken to jail on a charge of terrorizing. About a half dozen tenants in the building were evacuated as a precaution during the incident.
