JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For 29 years, St. John’s Academy has heavily relied on the HOPE Dinner & Silent Auction to keep tuition rates lower for their students.

The yearly event consists of hours of year-round preparation by many volunteers. Organizer Stacey Hunt says faculty, staff, parents, and students all see the benefits of the auction.

Principal Jeff Trumbauer says more specifically, they use funding to keep tuition rates lower for the families.

He added that this year, participants in the HOPE dinner will have an opportunity to view the newest addition to the school.

Hunt says with this new space, they were able to space patrons out more for this years HOPE dinner.

Another big fundraising aspect of the evening is the auction, which has been made virtual and open to anyone. This service is being provided by Orr Auctioneers and you can find the items here.

The event is set for Saturday, October 3rd at St. John’s Academy in Jamestown. You can help support St. John’s by contacting Peggy Etzold, Development Office at 701-252-0119 or email Peggy at development@stjamesbasilica.org, or call St. John’s Academy at 701-252-3397.
