MOORHEAD,MN (NewsDakota.com) – The Hi-Liner Cross Country team traveled to BlueStem in Moorhead on Saturday for a meet. The third mini-meet of the day consisted of Fargo South, West Fargo Sheyenne, and Valley City.
The meet started at 4:30 and the athletes performed well in the rainy conditions. Top runners were eighth grader Greta Goven for the girls and freshman Corben Golovanoff for the boys.
The day also resulted in four personal records set as Olivia Slyter, Tricia Pfennig, Daniel Wintch, and Evan Mielke improved their best times.
The next meet for the Hi-Liners is on Saturday, October 3rd when they travel to Grand Forks for their last meet before the conference meet.
