JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It’s the opening weekend of the resident waterfowl season in North Dakota.
North Dakota Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier reports that there are no major changes this year for duck & goose hunters.

Leier added that there are other seasons that continue on in North Dakota.
In other hunting news, Leier says next weekend will be the youth pheasant and non-resident waterfowl season. The full pheasant season will shortly follow on October 10th.
