JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Local and regional talent will headline the annual Gospel Music Jamboree in Jamestown on Sunday, September 13th.
Christine Witt is an organizer for the event and says they’re excited to bring back the jamboree this fall.
The annual event will feature uplifting music in various forms from country and classic to more modern sounds. Performers this year include the Prairie Harmony Singers, Troy Gunderson, Bernie Satrom, Randy & Cathy Schlect, and Curt Erickson & Kim Softing of Hawley, MN.
Witt added that there will be a freewill donation with all proceeds being given to Jamestown Youth for Christ.
There will also be a meal served afterwards for $6 by the Women of the Church, with proceeds again going to Youth for Christ. Witt says those who would like to eat the meal can either eat it at the church or take it home with them.
Masks are encouraged, but not required. There will also be hand sanitizer available.
The Gospel Music Jamboree will be at 2:30 PM at Temple Baptist Church in Jamestown at 1200 12th Avenue NE. Those who wish to enjoy the jamboree can also stream it at tbc.org.
