(NewsDakota.com) The Cardinals has 16 total kills from five different players in the first set and cruise to a 3-0 victory over the Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Rebels Thursday night in Class B District 5 volleyball (25-17, 25-13, 25-11). EKM drops to 0-4 0verall and 0-1 in D5, RV Carrington improves to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in D5.

The Cardinals had a total of 42 kills, leading the way was Senior Hannah Hagel with 11, Lexus Page added seven. The Cardinals servers had 11 total aces, seven servers had at least one ace, Breanna Mittleider led the way with three. Junior Emily Kinzler led the way for EKM with four kills.

Next up for Carrington will be on Tuesday, September 15th in Carrington against Park River/FL for a non-region contest, it’s also parent/senior night. KDAK and newsdakota.com will have the varsity match starting about 6:45pm prematch.
