CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Foster County Soil Conservation District recently held their Eco Ed Day this week.
District Manager Dionn Schaff says they were worried they wouldn’t be able to hold it, but were glad they could put the day on for the Carrington & Midkota 6th graders on Wednesday.
Schaff shared all those who helped dedicate some time to the event and the different topics covered over the day.
Schaff says they were glad to help get the kids outdoors to help learn more about conservation efforts being done in the region and statewide.
In other Foster County Soil Conservation news, Schaff says they’re waiting to hear for new tree orders this fall.
