Nathaniel “Nate” Haws, 32, Jamestown, ND passed away at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND on September 1, 2020. He was born December 25, 1987 in Jamestown.
Growing up he attended schools in Casselton and LaMoure. He spent his time working at various jobs doing carpentry and roofing. He enjoyed fishing and all genres of music. He has been called a music encyclopedia. If you ever had Nate ride in your car, you knew the minute he sat down in the seat, the radio was no longer owned or operated by you. Working with stereos was a favorite pastime and he loved cars, especially his Cougar. He loved food and was a great cook. He could create what tasted like a gourmet meal from the most random items in the cupboard. He was always joking, laughing, smiling and was the life of the party. He always knew how to make you laugh, even on the worst of days.
The greatest source of pride and joy in his life were his two daughters, Jasmine and Lilly.
Nathan is survived by those precious girls; his parents, Ronita, Richard, Waldo and Shellee; siblings, Jaeda (Cody), Rikki, Randi, Tony (Bridget), and Nicole; his grandmother, Marlys Bjerke; his aunts, uncles and his nieces and nephews that are going to miss their silly uncle like crazy. He also had many close friends, whom he considered family. When he loved you, you became family and he loved you with his whole heart.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delores and Glenn Hoyt, Tom Haws, and Orville Bjerke; and uncles, Rick Haws and Tim Gemelke.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Lerud Mathias Funeral Home Chapel followed by burial in Memory Gardens Cemetery near Valley City, ND.
