JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Stutsman County Auditor Nicole Meland informed the Stutsman County Commission Tuesday that there was no guarantee they would receive requested CARES funding for payroll in August & September.

Meland stated that March through July payroll CARES funding was received, but August & September requests may not be fully allocated.

Meland says she discussed this with other department heads to figure out a way to cover payroll if they weren’t allocated their full request. One suggestion was a 2% step increase for next year.
