BISMARCK, N.D. (Newdakota.com) – For the second straight season, the Century Patriots and Jamestown Blue Jays were voted numbers one and two atop the WDA Preseason Volleyball Coaches Poll.

Jays Head Coach Sara Hegerle had no disputes.

“I voted for Century number one,” said Hegerle. “It doesn’t surprise me that their one and it doesn’t surprise me that we’re two. I think people respect what we’re doing and kind of have high expectations for our program as well.”

Century captured the West Region Championship and dropped the state championship match to Fargo Davies in four sets last season.
