JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As the Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) faces the challenges of COVID-19, so do the volunteers and auxiliary members who support the hospital.

Katie Ryan-Anderson, Marketing Coordinator, says they are grateful to all their providers for the work they continue to do in the community.

Ryan-Anderson added that for several years, volunteers and auxillians have dedicated thousands of hours of service to the hospital.

To continue their mission of supporting the hospital, the JRMC Auxiliary will be holding a pop-up shopping event with merchandise from the JRMC Gift Shoppe.

JRMC Auxiliary President Marlene Axtman says items in the store can’t be found anywhere else in the community.

Axtman says hosting this pop-up event is important to not just the auxiliary, but to their volunteers and the hospital that rely on the fundraising they do.

JRMC Volunteer & Community Development Coordinator Gina Olson says the Auxiliary has been vital to supporting the hospital through many different ways.

Ryan-Anderson added that all funds raised at the pop-up event will assist the JRMC.

The pop-up shopping event will be held on August 28th at Babb’s Coffee House in the meeting room from 8 AM to 3 PM.
