VALLEY CITY, N.D. (Todd Webster/NewsDakota.com) -The Valley City Country Club held their club tournament this last weekend, Ended up with five flights of 8 golfers each.
The 2020 Championship match consisted of Travis Ingstad defeating Ben Sorenson for the title in a rematch of last years title match in which Ben came out on top. Matt Sorenson won the Consolation Championship. The Presidents flight was won by Chad Lueck who outlasted Tom Glandt, Chad Tangen took home consolation.
First flight had John Samuelson coming out on top over Nate Zerface and consolation won by Austin Fritz.
In the Chuck Sjostrom Flight Lance Peterson was victorious over Lee Krueger, Consolation winner was Todd Kohler. And in the Rodger Ludwig Flight Tom Lorenz knocked off Bob Brown and Dennis Annundson took the honors of consolation champion.
The women consisted of 2-person women teams in a 27 hole scramble format of which Tara Glandt and Liz Nelson came out on top, followed by Mary Tangen and Liz Krueger, Amber Olson and Lori Justesen and Ruth Nathan and Sheryl Hanson.
