JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department is beginning to do their inspections once again in the community.

Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther says they are back to doing their routine inspections as they did prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic. He encourages those who need inspections to call the fire department.

He says in some of their inspections, they’re finding blocked exits to area businesses.

Reuther adds this also includes restrooms in businesses during operating hours.

Chief Reuther says those who want inspections done can contact the Jamestown Fire Department at 701-252-1441 or talk to any city firefighter.
