WAHPETON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City girls golf team competed at an Eastern Dakota Conference meet at the Bois de Sioux Golf Course in Wahpeton Thursday.

For the second consecutive meet, the girls set a team record. After a 466 on Tuesday at Maple River, the Hi-Liners improved that by eight strokes with a 458. Brynn Hagen moved into the teams number one spot with the a personal record of 108. Maggie Dockter improved 24 strokes from Tuesday meet with a 118. Emma Meilke carded a 114, Katarina Vachel had a 118 and Taylor Yanish made her varsity debut with a 132.

Next up for the Hi-Liners is another EDC meet at the Grand Forks Country Club on Monday.
